And just like that, The Office is over. I laughed. I cried. Then I cried some more. I have to admit that I stopped watching it when Steve Carell left, but I’m so glad I caught up before tonight’s finale. It was so heartfelt and wrapped up everyone’s storylines very nicely.

Fave quote of the night goes to Mr. Andy Bernard - “I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good ol’ days before you’ve actually left them”

SPOILER: I’m so glad they brought Michael back (and that he has a bunch of kids!)

So this happened yesterday…

*Here’s the story: A few days ago, I found out that a mystery comedian was going to be performing a pre-HBO Special warmup show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. I did a little research and found out that Sarah Silverman was going to be filming her HBO special this weekend, so I connected the dots and jumped on getting tickets. Unfortunately, you needed a password to purchase them. I could not find the password anywhere. But my phone went off at 2am, and I got a response from some random person I tweeted who said he knew the password. I was able to snag the last pair of tickets. Success! My mom is the only person that appreciates my love of comedy, so I told her we were going on a little adventure. We show up, and it’s the smallest little theater. There were 39 people there, and we were sitting front row. Sarah ran through her jokes, and we laughed and cringed and laughed some more. My mom has an awesomely loud and jolly laugh, and at one point Sarah was like “Oh man, can you please come on Sunday. Seriously, please ha ha” It was fantastic. I love love love going to small, intimate performances, and it was one for the books for sure. I don’t want to ruin it before it airs, but there was talk of vaginas, dogs, and Jesus lol

Sigh I should be seeing this band tonight, but alas tickets...
